The SHIFT Fund helps to reduce barriers and connects young people at risk with the tools and training needed to be successful as they enter the skilled trades.
From drivers’ licenses to safety certifications, and industry led construction 101 programs, we provide opportunities for young people to accumulate the education and training needed to be successful on the job.
THE SHIFT DRIVER TRAINING FUND
Through The SHIFT Fund, the Construction Foundation of BC is pleased to offer Driver’s Licence training grants for youth in care, who have transitioned from care or are classified as at risk. The approximate value of each grant for driver training is $1500 and will be paid directly to the training provider.
