The CFBC network reaches across Canada and engages people at all levels of their skilled trades journey.

We recognize that everyone thrives in a welcoming world. This recognition is the driving force behind the team's efforts to introduce people to the vast opportunities that are available in the construction, manufacturing, automotive and marine industries.

CAREER EXPLORATION

Our initiatives help to remove barriers for new entrants to the workforce.

RESEARCH

Investing in research ensures a vibrant and progressive future for our Industry. As research projects are completed, the final reports will be shared on the website.

Funding may be provided for research projects that build upon and support the sustainability of the construction industry with a focus on enhancing safety and improving industry practices.

GRANTS & FUNDING

The Construction Foundation provides grants to support a number of projects across the entire province.

To date, we have distributed over $3 Million in support of skilled trade and technological education in BC’s K – 12 system. If you are interested in applying for a grant, please review the granting protocols for each opportunity.

We are currently accepting applications for Research Funding and Scholarships & Bursaries.

BUILDING OUR COMMUNITY

With the help of our donors, volunteers, and partners, we have made a substantial impact in our community. Through various campaigns and initiatives, we have provided families and individuals with the resources they need to succeed. Young people are participating in Skills Ready Showcase Events, Opportunity Fairs and Workplace Tours across BC

$265K invested in trades training grants for people across the province to work towards achieving their Red Seal Endorsement or trade qualification.

Over $3M has been distributed to schools across the province to support educators as they help young people to explore careers in the skilled trades and technologies

First Nations youth and adults from across BC have engaged with our initiatives on their skill development journey.
