We contribute to community sustainability through engagement in charitable initiatives
and a commitment to education, employment and research initiatives.

THE FOUNDATION AT WORK

SKILLS READY

Skills Ready provides tools for young people to prove they are work ready.

SKILLS READY is an initiative developed to support high school students as they prepare for and access jobs in the skilled trades.

RESEARCH

Investing in research ensures a vibrant and progressive future for our Industry. As research projects are completed, the final reports will be shared on the website.

Funding may be provided for research projects that build upon and support the sustainability of the construction industry with a focus on enhancing safety and improving industry practices.

GRANTS & FUNDING

The Construction Foundation provides grants to support a number of projects across the entire province.

To date, we have distributed over $3 Million in support of skilled trade and technological education in BC’s K – 12 system. If you are interested in applying for a grant, please review the granting protocols for each opportunity.

We are currently accepting applications for Research Funding and Scholarships & Bursaries.

BUILDING OUR COMMUNITY

The Foundation's pillar program, Skills Ready, provides tools for young people to prove they are work ready, while enabling them to a build a real world understanding of the advantages that starting out in the skilled trades and technologies can do for their future. With guidance and support provided by our team of Career Catalysts, Skills Ready connects industry with educators and young people to help bridge the gap into apprenticeship and long term careers.
